Henk Grol
Henk Grol (Veendam, 14 April 1985) switched to the weight class up to 100 kg during 2007. At the end of January 2008, he qualified for the Olympic Games in Beijing (8-24 August 2008). In April 2008 he became European champion.
At the Games, he reached the semi finals. In the bout he was ahead, but was knocked out by his opponent from Kazachstan, Askhat Zhitkeyev. Grol then won the fight for third and fourth place taking home an excellent bronze medal.
Following his Olympic performance in Beijing, Henk Grol has definitively joined the ranks of leading Dutch sportsmen and women. Few athletes have such an incredible will to win. Henk is a thoroughbred winner, who always goes for gold. At just 23 years old, his attitude promises great things for the future.
Henk Grol commented, “I have two tough training sessions a day. I have noticed that by taking Plantina Multi, Plantina Coenzyme Q10 and Plantina Ribose, my recovery is faster and I am able to work harder the next day. Plantina Vitamin C is a real boost for my resistance, and Plantina Yolac goes with me on all my foreign training sessions and competitions. Without the supplements from Plantina, it would be physically and mentally impossible for me to perform at this level of elite sport.”
