Plantina sponsors
Plantina not only sponsors elite sportsmen and women but anyone who has a positive life attitude. For example, young people who project a healthy lifestyle through their activities. That makes Plantina more than a product; it is in fact part of a lifestyle: movement, healthy eating and food supplements.
Plantina concentrates on various branches of sport including hockey, tennis, swimming, volleyball and judo.
Amongst the best-known Dutch sportsmen and women sponsored by Plantina are snowboarder Nicolien Sauerbreij, who has already qualified for the Winter Olympic Games in 2010, and leading judokas Henk Grol and Ruben Houkes. Up and coming talented athletes also receive support from Plantina.
In 2008, a number of our athletes took part in the Beijing Olympic Games, including Edith van Dijk, the Holland4, Elisabeth Willeboordse and Carola Uilenhoed. All were sponsored by Plantina.
