Why Plantina Ribose?
Ribose is continuously necessary for energy. For all muscles and above all for the heart muscle. Ribose is the ‘base material’ for the chemical storage of energy (ATP). The heart needs this substance 24 hours a day. The other muscles need it as soon as demands are placed on them, for example during sport.
Is Plantina Ribose safe?
Ribose is entirely safe to take. What the body does not need to produce ATP is secreted in the urine.

D-ribose, L-carnitine and coenzyme Q10. Which of the three?
The three substances work together, each with their own specific function. It is therefore not possible to clearly determine which substance or combination should be taken by preference. The general recommendation, for a maintenance dose, is to opt for L-carnitine (certainly for vegetarians) and/or coenzyme Q10. For active people (sport), D-ribose is the preferred substance.

Dosage and how to be taken
Ribose is easily dissolved in water. You can mix D-ribose powder into either hot or cold food. Since the powder has a natural, mild sweet taste, you can also use D-ribose as a sweetener.
Normal use: 3 scoops during the day, preferably during or immediately after a meal.
During exercise: 1 scoop before and 1 scoop after exercise, preferably dissolved in a sufficient amount of water.
During heavy exercise: before exercise 1 or 2 scoops, during exercise 1 scoop every hour, after exercise 1 scoop. Preferably dissolved in water (sports bottle).
