Ribose

For active people: more energy and better recovery
Nothing is healthier than physical activity, for everyone at their own level. That means for elite athletes a carefully planned training programme, for the over 50s an occasional pleasant mountain walk on holiday. And for everyone in between : at the gym, in the garden or long walks with the dog. Plantina Ribose is a welcome support for all physical activity. It improves the energy metabolism and promotes recovery.

Ribose

Plantina Ribose in periods of fatigue and stress
Ribose is the storage form for energy (ATP) in every cell of the body. The storage tank must always be sufficiently filled to deliver energy when needed. Plantina Ribose makes this possible. It helps you during periods of fatigue and assists in period of stress. Plantina Ribose is a powder. To gain the optimum effect from the product, it should be used in a special way. Plantina Ribose is an age-essential (substance that becomes more necessary the older we get, because the human body is less and less capable of producing this substance itself).

Elite athletes swear by Plantina Ribose
Elite athletes are able to work longer, recover better and therefore perform perfectly thanks to Plantina Ribose. Ribose is a natural substance approved by the Dutch Security System for Food Supplements for Elite Athletes (NZVT).

Why Plantina Ribose?

Ribose is continuously necessary for energy. For all muscles and above all for the heart muscle. Ribose is the ‘base material’ for the chemical storage of energy (ATP). The heart needs this substance 24 hours a day. The other muscles need it as soon as demands are placed on them. For example during sport or in periods of stress.

Is Plantina Ribose safe?

Ribose is entirely safe to take. What the body does not need to produce ATP is secreted in the urine.

D-ribose, L-carnitine and coenzyme Q10. Which of the three?

The three substances work together, each with their own specific function. It is therefore not possible to clearly determine which substance or combination should be taken by preference. The general recommendation, for a maintenance dose, is to opt for L-carnitine (certainly for vegetarians) and/or coenzyme Q10. For active people (sport), D-ribose is the preferred substance.

What is the packaging size?

Plantina Ribose powder is availiable in 92 and 400 grams.

Dosage and how to be taken

Ribose is easily dissolved in water. It has a neutral, slightly sweet flavour.
